Belle is our smallest, but by no means little mule. She has been used for packing in the steep Wallowa Mountain for many years. George Garoutte, a reneound mule trainer - and Keith's uncle - broke to ride her. 
 
Believe it or not, we just got her in our big backyard with a stall halter only, and jumped right on her back. She moved forward, turned, no bucking, no nothing.

She is 12 years old, about 13 hands tall, very very friendly, loads, clips, roaches without any problems.

She is an excellent pack mule and has been used on a regular basis as a pack mule in the high mountains for many years.

She has been broke to ride, bareback and under western saddle, but not used a lot under the saddle.

At 12, Belle has many good years still ahead of her, and willmake a great pack and riding mule for the right person.
